This was dreamed up by & passed to me by a sweet toothed Australian diabetic buddy. She assures me it’s yummy but I hate avocados (yucky texture) she uses it as a treat sweet or a filling for tart/cheesecake for special occasions
Ingredients
• 1 over ripe avocado, mashed
• 1 level tbls good quality cocoa powder (not hot chocolate)
• 25 ml hot water
• 2 level tsps butter
• 2 level tsps honey
• 2-3 tbls booze of choice (optional)
• Good pinch cinnamon or mixed spice
Method
Stirring constantly simmer cocoa powder, water, butter & honey till syrupy. Pour honey over avocado & whisk together. Mix in booze & spice then taste for balance. Divide between 2 dishes then decorate as desired & serve either warm or chilled.
