A spicy meat dish which goes well with the chick pea pasta or on it’s own with salad or veg.
Ingredients
• 250 g 5% mince (only because I like it)
• 1 small onion
• 2 tspns olive oil
• A clove of garlic
• Chilli peppers (amount acc to personal taste)
• Half an aubergine
• 4 mushrooms
• half a carrot
• 2 sticks celery
• 2 400g tins tomatoes
• tspn of dried basil (fresh if you have it)

Method
gently fry onions in olive oil
add the mince
when mince is browned add the other veg, spices and herbs
continue to fry for ten minutes
Add the tomatoes, stir, bring to boil then simmer with lid on for half an hour or more
