I have tree nut allergies, which means any nut grown on a tree I cannot consume as it causes me to go into anaphylactic shock and having to use an epi-pen and head to the ER. So, alot of these recipes use walnuts and other tree nuts. Got any suggestion as to what I can substitute?

Just leave the nuts out, it will mean you have extra calories for things you can eat.
