I have got Irritable bowel syndrome and I find that the only thing that helps me avoid being constipated etc is a bowl of porridge each morning. I have about 35g. How can I make the blood sugar diet work with this? Is porridge ok? I eat jumbo oats

You havent said you are diabetic so if you look in the books (BSD by MM and then BSD recipe book) there is no reason why you cant have oats, made with water and no sugar products but reduce to 20 / 25 grams. Look at the calorie count if you are doing 800.
