Hi Pootle, thank you for the new thread. I am still around but keeping my head down. Started Monday with a new goal to get rid of all the cruise and family holiday weight in 7 weeks. 2 reasons for mid September as I will be seeing the doctor and having my 3 monthly blood tests and a few days later we are going to the UK to visit family. Will be weighing in every 7 days (maybe a sneaky peek) so this coming Monday is the end of my first week.

My goodness, there is a sudden spate of spam threads… they have eclipsed all the ‘recent topics’!!!
Typical August day today… sunshine, buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies!!
Feeling exhausted but satisfied after 4 intense working days. I was going to try to persuade hubby to eat out tonight… but can’t be bothered to shower, change and get in the car!! 🙄
So trying the lower carb toad in the hole recipe… 🤞Hope you are all keeping on…
Xxxx -
Hello All, Im back after a long time ( before Covid?) I have regained a little weight but really I’m looking to lose more as I have recently been diagnosed with high blood pressure and would like to not be on permanent medication. Here for support, accountability and community. I see some of you are still here so I’m looking forward to catching up with you and hearing from new folks. Starting now!
-
Hi Antigone,
Great to hear from old hands…As you know, these forums are brilliant for support and advice from a friendly community!
Looking forward to hearing about your progress! -
Hello & thank you for setting up the new thread Pootle👍
I am continuing to slowly make progress & am walking with one crutch now & with much effort can lift my straight leg up off the bed so gradually retraining my muscles what to do 😀🤞
Trying to eat fairly sensibly but it is our 51st wedding anniversary tomorrow & we have had delivered a Cote Brasserie dine in meal to cook for lunch so it will be scallops with fougasse, steak frites & creamed spinach with peppercorn sauce & bitter chocolate mousse plus I will have one glass of wine to celebrate & forego my midday Tramadol so it doesn’t conflict. I will get back to low carb when I am back in charge in the kitchen whilst in the meantime my very supportive husband continues to provide me with meals & supervise my recovery & exercises 😀.
Margaret xx -
Yes Pootle, they really get me mad, as you can see, I have reported them all or 4 of them.
Margaret glad you are improving. Happy wedding anniversary for tomorrow. It is my daughters anniversary too. Well, besides the fougasse, I cannot see anything in that meal to contribute to carb overload – wine doesn’t count when you are celebrating. Enjoy.
Welcome back Antigone, its been a while. Sounds like you have been keeping in control and ready to join the support group.
-
Yes S-G irritating aren’t they!!!
Happy Anniversary Margaret, enjoy the meal, it sounds delicious!! I didn’t know Cote Brasserie did dine in meals!!
K xx -
Good morning all,
What an extraordinary August it is already! 😄
Raining and cool one day, sun and hot the next. A bit like life!!!! 🤪
I have discovered that I no longer have the energy to work several 14 hour days on the trot without consequences! 🫣 Still, I really enjoyed being back in full swing. Just made a mental note not to take a big job on again!
I made the cauliflower bread last night, as I need a packed lunch tomorrow. I have liked the broccoli version, Hope this is as good!
Keep on keeping on everyone, see you soon.
K xxxx -
Morning Pootle. No rain here for the foreseeable and a heatwave coming in..my poor garden! Will defo check out the cauliflower bread as my plan to reboot yesterday was derailed by a fresh sourdough bake! ( and I have some caulis to pick) Having ‘failed’ on day 1, I decided to go through my wardrobe – I’ve removed anything that’s even slightly snug for ( hopefully) a nice surprise in a month! All remaining items are in colour order. It’s 10am here…so far so good! Good luck everyone
-
Hi all, had my weekly weigh in yesterday – forgot to post. I have lost 4lbs. However, we were out last night eating and drinking so not weighing for a few days. Not a bad quiz night and we came second which isn’t bad as there are only 2 of us on our team and others have up to 6.
Keep on keeping on…
-
Well done SG. Hats a great loss and a good win!
-
Hi all, after my night out my weight shot up but is back down again today. So my weight loss for the week is now 3.5lbs so still not a bad result. No more events until September and still have 3.5lb to lose to reach my 7lb goal. Still happy.
Our heatwave is on its way back and it is 28 today but I am indoors and I am freezing cold. Will probably feel it tomorrow when it hits 35 degrees.
-
Afternoon all,
Antigone… great idea to sort your wardrobe.. I need to throw out the bigger clothes that I packed into a suitcase for the second time… or get them altered to fit the renewed me!!!
S-G I hope you are surviving the heat. Congratulations on the quiz win and weight loss!
I’m currently 140 miles from home, trying to keep several boxes of cut flowers cool until tonight! 🤞🤞
Take care all.
K xx -
Just popping in to say ‘hello’!
We are just leaving Portifino in Italy, it’s hot!
Just three more nights until we spend two nights in a small hotel near Rome airport then home.Eating pretty well. Had a pink grapefruit juice today. It was wonderful. Haven’t had a fruit juice in probably 8 years … this one was magnificent! So good to eat/drink something and really enjoy and appreciate rather than have it constantly and you don’t even ‘taste’ it.
Anyway hope everyone is doing well and that August is really turning out to be ‘Awesome’ in every way.
When I get back I’ll join you all again.
As sunshine-girl (s-g) says just keep on keeping on ………..
-
Hi Verano,
Sounds like you are having a wonderful holiday.I had a night away from home for work yesterday… killing 2 birds with 1 stone… last night’s work followed by an ‘in person’ meeting today within 25 miles of each other… all 175 miles from home.
Great, I was so looking forward to a relaxing night at the 3 star country hotel I had booked, with a leisurely cooked breakfast. Not to be! The hotel phoned me to say they had a problem, so had transferred me to their ‘sister’ hotel for the night! The sister ‘hotel’ was a pub with self catering apartments… no coffee in the room, no breakfast available (pub was shut this morning) no tv in the bedroom, on a main road, with about the hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep on! I swear the floor would probably have been more comfortable!!!
So disappointing!! Especially when the hotel had come highly recommended! It was less expensive, but that wasn’t what I wanted!!
The only saving grace was the steak salad, which was very acceptable. But that didn’t make up for the shortcomings! 😢😢😢😢😢 -
Hi all,
Thought the forum was very quiet, then realised I wasn’t subscribed to August!
So to catch up, congratulations on your weight loss SG – 3.5lbs is fantastic!
Welcome back Antigone – and I don’t think I could have resisted fresh sourdough either.
Happy Anniversary Margaret – your celebration meal sounded delicious!
Sounds like you’re having a wonderful time on your holiday, Verano.
And Pootle – seems like you’re working very hard at the moment, and I’m so sorry that your well-deserved hotel break didn’t work out.
My update – lost a kilo this week, which I’m very happy about. I’ve worked out that if I eat more than around 30g carbs a day the weight just doesn’t shift. So I’ll try to stick to that. My trousers are all very loose now though, so I’m losing fat which is the aim, after all.
Anyway, hope everyone has a fantastic weekend,
Lacy xx -
Hi Lacy,
Sorry you were missing out! Really pleased you are back with us!
Hope everyone is doing ok!
K xxx -
Hello SL. Well done on the loss. Pootle- I feel for you – I used to travel teach many years ago and stayed in some very weird and wonderful lodgings!
I am on track and hoping for a result on the scales!
Bon weekend! -
Hi everyone, had a lovely haircut yesterday. What is now called a Pamela Anderson, soft shaggy bob which I can add some curls and put behind my ears for nights out.
Weight remains the same but that is how it goes after a decent loss. Still sticking to it and had half an hour in the pool this morning before it got too hot. 36 degrees yesterday and heading for 39 today. Monday it will be 42. We just shut the house up and stay indoors. Don’t let the heat in or you will struggle to get it out again.
Hope you all have a great weekend.

Can I just say on behalf of the genuine posters that this site has become an absolute mess with scammers, people selling stull and people not on subject. If you look at the last dozen posts at least 8 of them are scams. If admin can block genuine posters because they don’t like what they are saying or think they are a bit suspect why cant they keep these people off the site. I know when I report something they usually come back saying thanks for the report but right now they don’t seem to be doing anything to clear them off.
Admin, can you please do your job and make this site a safe a decent place for people who are following a diet plan. Maybe if I report this post you will take some notice but you seem to be falling down on your duties right now.
-
Re-count – 16 suspect posts in the last couple of days. We should just keep reporting them as they spoil our enjoyment of the site.
Sorry to have hijacked this post. Keep on keeping on…
-
S-g great weight loss!
I think that this site is only kept going by admin because ‘we’ original posters still post. Since the new ‘paid for’ 800 website was started a few years ago I think that we’ve been ‘looked after’ by admin and I’m really pleased about that. When you think about it there really isn’t a ‘good’ reason, financially, to keep this site up and running and I’m really thankful for it.
Thank you ‘admin’ for keeping Michael’s original site going. -
Hi All- I’ve been absent for a while with just managing daily life really and also been quite lax with the diet also (have gained some weight)….I think I’m going to weigh tomorrow to see exactly where I am at and hopefully get my act together a bit. I was reminded to come on as a couple of peeps posted on the NSV thread so I had an email and thought- ooh- time to get back on it! Although I’m feeling somewhat wiped out at the moment, eating well is likely to help!
Hope everyone is doing ok….any major news I should know? xxx -
Hi All, Verano I know the admin team are usually on it so this spate of scammers is not normal. However, it is August and if it is a team of one he/she might be on holiday. Lets hope it gets tidied up or we will just have to posts lots to push them away. Another idea is not to comment ‘reported’ as it pushes them to the top of the threads, I do it so others don’t have to worry but maybe no more.
My weight is still okay. Sat out having brunch this morning and had to come in as it is so hot, and we are under a shaded gazebo. Right now it is 32 and due to get hotter later in the day. I am staying indoors.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
-
Hello Tulip et al. Despite a shaky start I have lost just over 2 kilos since Monday morning 🙂 Very pleased with that and my BP has dropped as well. Working indoors to avoid the heat today but out this evening for a bbq….should be able to avoid bread hopefully. Everyone seems to be doing well and Tulip has sworn in! Well done folks
-
Evening all,
I just wrote a really long post… and promptly lost it, as I wasn’t logged in! (I thought I was, but it did take me a long time to type it all out) Not going to repeat it all.. sorry!
Booking an appointment tomorrow to get BS tested… 🤞🤞🤞! Have kept weight steady… and been pretty careful on the diet!
Have a good week.
K xx -
Hi Pootle. Will the BS test mean that you see the nurse again? I loved your description of the pleased surprise your GP showed with your great results. The nurse’s reaction should be a picture!
Good luck SG with the temperatures this week. X

Hello,
I’m back after a very long absence absence. I lost three stone back in 2017 and successfully maintained until towards the end of lockdown. Well, long story but a stressful family event and a house move saw me put on a stone and a half. I was then successfully tackling that towards the end of last year when I had a breast cancer diagnosis, surgery and my father died. This year has been one of survival as I’ve had chemotherapy and so now I find myself three stone heavier than my ideal and pretty weak. I have radiotherapy daily until the 20th but I’m now back on the horse and trying to get it sorted.
Began BSD two weeks ago and have lost about 7lb. I have gone back to Pilates after many years away from it and trying to do a daily walk at least five times a week.
Hubby is doing this with me, which is great. So I’m feeling positive that I will get back to health. I have a work Christmas party right at the end of November so a good date to aim for.
-
Hi Mokovex,
I am a relative newbie, but achieved my weight goal and put diabetes into remission at the end of last year! Now working on maintaining a healthy balance.Great that your hubby is doing it with you, mine did last year and still eats the low carb meals with me, but he now has a selection of “no-nos” in a kitchen cupboard. At first I found that a huge temptation, but it doesn’t seem too bad now.
Heidi, I think the diabetes clinic nurse is a law unto herself. We are not permitted to make an appointment with her, she decides when she needs to see you and makes an appointment!!! 🙄
After our first encounter, I don’t think she will be keen to see me again! 🫣 😅
I hope to see the GP when the results are in.Hope everyone is doing ok,
Keeping on keeping on!
K xx -
Hello everyone & sorry for my absence but I had a bit of a set back on Saturday with my stitch wound breaking down & looking as though it was leaking pus. I was quite panicky & got in touch with the hospital which is nearly an hours drive away. My husband drove me down & I saw the ward resident doctor who then phoned my consultant & thank goodness I have been given a course of antibiotics & will be seeing my Consultant tomorrow! My knee is red & sore but the doctor said it’s just a surface breakdown not deeper & didn’t even need a dressing to cover it 🤔
I’m just eating what my husband is giving me including breakfast that I don’t usually have so I know my weight has increased so at the moment I’m a poor example on here but I will get back on track when I’m fitter & more mobile again.
You are all doing so well keep on going 👏👏
Margaret xx -
Hello Mokovex
sorry to see all the horrible things you’ve had to deal with but glad you are feeling positive again and in control. Pootle we’re all keen to hear how you get on with nurse and doc! -
Hi everyone, nice to see so many returners.
Antigone, well done on 2 kgs. That is a great result. Mokovex, you have been through quite a time of it. I hope this site can become your safe place just for you. Hope you can feel open and share any worries, it is a great loss over the last 2 weeks and it is great your hubby is doing this with you. Mine didn’t and does’nt need to (tall and slim) but a BP and cholesterol scare made him look again at his daily sandwich and when I ask if he want rice with his bolognaise he now says no, and no to rice and potatoes. His treat is a couple of small cakes when we do the shopping and 2 croissants for breakfast – but that used to be 4 croissants.
Pootle, looking forward to your results. I think nurse know it all will be avoiding you from now on. Keep up the good work Shetland Lace, we all get to know our own bodies after a while and can trust our own instincts.
As for me, no weigh in today as Tuesday has always been my day but I do know there is some loss. I had a swim this morning as it is going to hit 43 degrees later and even at 11am it was 33. Don’t envy us – I think people in the UK have realised the heat is not all it is cracked up to be – sometimes it can be unbearable. We will batten down the shutters and try to stay cool. We do have aircon in the lounge but it costs a fortune to run and after a while running the atmosphere becomes damp and clammy so we prefer dry fans.
See you all tomorrow if I survive.
-
Just want to say thank you to ADMIN, the rubbish clogging our site has now disappeared. Many thanks for looking out for us.
-
just to say I survived the heat from yesterday – 43 – today we are cooler at 41 🙂
Weight loss is a disappointment at only quarter of a pound. Still, better down than up. Had a swim most days but it never seems to impact on my weight. I did have a one slice of bread chicken sandwich just before bed last night as I was getting the shakes. Should really have done a blood test to see if I really needed it.
Big job today. Just taken deliver of £90 of Irish sausage and bacon. All has to be bagged up and put in the freezer to last a few months.
Stay safe everyone.
-
Hope you are feeling better Wendy – sounds very unsettling for you. SG..maybe you’re building muscle in the pool? Everyone ok with the heat?
-
Thank you Antigone & brilliant weight loss 👏👏 gosh Mokovex you are having to deal with a lot & I hope your treatment goes well. I know how difficult it is to lose weight when there is so much else going on & all you can do is take one day at a time & be kind to yourself!
Well my update is that my wound breakdown is probably caused by dissolving sutures wanting to escape rather than dissolve!! I’m so pleased to have a reason because I was wondering if I had done something wrong. I’m returning on Friday to have a check & a fresh dressing applied with a photo being sent to my consultant to check the healing & if I need an extended course of antibiotics.
It was amusing because a physio came down to see me so we didn’t have to drive back there again within a couple of hours & he put me through my paces. He challenged me to walk without crutches up the corridor past patients waiting to be seen then gave me one crutch to walk back with & I got a round of applause from them which was encouraging & lovely😀. I must now only use one crutch & make sure I am rolling my foot from heel to toes as I am trying to walk. It’s weird having to think about how to walk because it’s usually so automatic but I have been limping for two to three years with my stick before my op so my muscles have to be retrained. 🤞🤞
Keep on going everyone it’s worth it taking as much control as we can to help our own health & I will soon be rejoining you on the BSD once I’m back in the kitchen cooking from scratch again 😀
Margaret xx -
Hello.
Welcome (back) Antigone, Shetland Lace, Tulip and Mokovex. It’s good to see some new ‘blood’.S-g I sympathise with you. We had 38 on the outskirts of Rome yesterday and that was a no-no for me. Just 28 here today and even that’s too warm!
Margaret belated Happy Anniversary! Glad to hear you’re improving bit by bit. It is a slow job but well worthwhile at the end of the day. The ‘new’ you is just around the corner!
Pootle sorry to hear about your hotel disappointment. Best laid plans! Did I read that you have a lot of squash and courgettes? Pull up the ‘Soups’ thread there are so many good recipes there. Also I have a lovely butternut squash and chickpea curry if you’d like it. Not sure if I’ve ever posted it here. It’s a bit carby but makes a nice change and if you’re not into curry spices you could always leave them out and add herbs of your choice and make it into a ‘stew’.
So to me. Arrived home last night really looking forward to ‘my own bed’ but for the life of me I just couldn’t drop off. I think it was after 2 when I finally fell asleep so a bit tired and crotchety today! Weight wise I was delighted to have just gained 2.6lbs so hopefully I can set too and get rid of that now. In fact I think it really does do your body good to have a total change of plan now and again. In saying that my tastes have changed so much over the years and now, on the odd occasion, two spoons of dessert are enough …. couldn’t eat a whole one anymore! Looking forward to getting back into ‘healthy’ eating again.
Hope everyone is having a good August.
-
Good morning all,
Verano, good to hear you are home safe and sound. That the ‘legged’ flight worked for you, with your luggage arriving at the same time, is brilliant!!Margaret, a relief to hear that your problem with the knee is getting resolved, and excellent to get a round of applause for your walking without crutches!
S-G I really hope that the heat is calming down and you got all your delivery into the freezer in good time! . It is quite cool here this morning, so I am planning a much needed ‘muck out’ of the chicken shed.🙄 A job I tend to put off!
Antigone, Tulip, Heidi, Shetland and Mokovex. I hope you are all ok. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Thinking about everyone in this community, and keeping on keeping on..
K xxx -
Hello all,
Good to hear that everyone is doing well, surviving the heat and dealing with life in general! Especially good to hear your knee problem is getting sorted out Margaret – it must be a great relief!
I’ve been reading all the posts – lovely to see so many people around! Didn’t comment earlier though, because I’ve spent the last couple of days on colonoscopy prep, so felt a bit sorry for myself and didn’t want to spread it around!! I had the procedure today, and things look good according to the doctor. Won’t get the lab results back until next week, so fingers crossed he’s right! The diet didn’t go too far off, but I laughed at the list of ‘white foods’ you were allowed to eat – all the stuff we absolutely can’t have… I was left with chicken breast, yoghurt and cheese. Oh well!
And Pootle – I do sympathise with putting off mucking out the chook shed – not a job I enjoyed much either when we kept a small flock.
Take care everyone,
Lacy xx -
Hi everyone, I am still alive, just. We are having another few days in the low 40s and it is unbearable. Fortunately, we don’t have to go anywhere or do anything. Sat with a facial electric fan on my desk or on my bedside table. For the first time every I have bought a big bag of ice – like the do in American films. It is coming very much in handy.
Had some weight loss so back on the move.
SL, I remember when I was gong for a colonoscopy – the worst part was the night before having to drink gallons of a foul tasting solution. And yes, white rice, mashed potatoes etc. Not a lot for us to eat.
Verano, it was around 36 when we were in Rome and that was in April. Must pick you brains as we want to go back for a few days. What do you recommend, how did you do it (organised trip or self booking). It will probably be next year as we have a holiday in the UK in September and another for Christmas (oh no, Ive said the dreaded C word).
Stay safe everyone.
-
S-g not sure I can be of much help. We stayed close to the airport rather Rome itself. The centre of Rome is around 33 km from Fiumicino airport. My OH wanted to take a tour into Rome but it was so hot, August, full of tourists and traffic. Added to that we both have mobility issues now and so it would have been a sightseeing tour by car. Just didn’t fancy that. Anyway I can let you have the details of where we stayed if you want them.
-
Hi all, has a slip up last night – just felt like having a drink, so did – just 2 glasses but it has put my weight up. Will drop again but I should know better.
Managed to have a swim this morning but at 10.30 am it was already 36 degrees. Fortunately the pool was a cool 28 (that is the same as most indoor pools in the UK).
Verano, don’t worry about it, we are looking at maybe April next year. Shame you missed out on some of the sights. There are some really good hop on hop off busses, mainly aircon if you sit downstairs (as I am sure you would). They get you close to an attraction like the Trevii Fountain and you just have a short walk. Then you get on another bus, they do a circular route so not nipping here and there and they run all day.
Well it is going to be 43 today and there is a warning out, no gardening with petrol or electric tools, no going into forests, no hunting etc anything that might cause a fire. We are just staying in the house and watching our electricity bill go up and up on our Linky 🙂 🙂 At least we are safe.
-
Hi S-G, hoping that you are managing to keep coolish without too high an electricity bill! I think I would try a sort of hibernation in those temperatures! I am not good in the heat, much prefer the cold…all bundled up outside, then get cosy by the fire!
So my blood results are in… 😢 still back into pre diabetes albeit one point lower than in early May (44). HbA1c now 43. Better than the 50 of June/July 2024 but still not as good as the 40 of December last year! I am still slowly losing weight, and have been really strict over the last 3 months.
When I phoned for the result, they said I needed advice from the diabetes nurse… so to avoid that calamity, this morning I managed to get an appointment with the doctor who is supportive.
I showed her my records… food eaten with calories and carbs, weight 7lb down since Christmas, BG prick tests fasting and 2 hours after eating…. Yes I am a bit of an obsessive nerd! 😄🤪😂
Her reaction was, if I hadn’t lost the weight and adjusted my diet I would probably be up into the high 50s or 60s now. She understood that I am determined to avoid the slippery slope of the medication route if at all possible. Her reaction was that I am overthinking it, and the numbers could be being influenced by the asthma medication I am on, and/or stress.
So for the next three months I am going to relax the record keeping somewhat. Just being mindful of what I am eating, no complex carbohydrates, no sugary foods, drinks or snacks and see what it is like at the next test.
The really bad news is she is retiring at the end of the month…. 😩😢 Only hope I can find another GP who is as good at listening and treats me as a person not a number! -
Pootle you’re doing really well. Nothing in life happens in a straight line. The relationship between carbs and blood sugar is more useful than that between weight and blood sugar. Seven pounds here or there won’t affect your blood sugar as much as 40 to 100g of carbs will! You have done so well and are keeping that up so relax a little. Numbers jump up and down over the day and yes you’re right to relax the record keeping. Try just ‘living’ with a low carb like rather than letting it dictate what you can and can’t do!
-
S-g I sympathise. Keep cool,
-
Hello all,
S-G, and everyone else suffering in the heat – I’m originally a London girl, and when I moved to Australia I found the oppressive heat, bushfires etc very hard to deal with, so I can really sympathise with what you’re all going through. Keep hydrated and out of the sun as much as possible, and think cool thoughts. 😉
Pootle, I’m sorry that your blood results weren’t what you hoped for, but I’m going to echo Verano’s comment – you’ve done incredibly well! Honestly, we are our own worst critics, aren’t we? Try and relax about it (easier said than done I know – I’m a terrible control freak myself!) because you know you can do this! 💖
As for me, I’ve put on a pound since my colonoscopy, which I’m not terribly happy about, but I put it down to my carbs being out of whack for a couple of days. I shall try to keep them below 30g for the next week, and hopefully that’ll get me back on track, as I still have a way to go to my target weight yet.🤞
Take care everyone, and have a cool, relaxing weekend!
Lacy xx 😀 -
Hi everyone, Shetland I knew you were from (or living in) Oz when you said cleaning out the chooks. I used to live in Sydney – or just outside. Pootle, you are still in pre-d and your doctor is telling you not to be so obsessed. It is only us and our dilegence that can get ourselves at good levels. Yes, maybe stop testing daily – says she who frets if I dont do all my stats every day – try to get out of the habit. But, that can lead to forgetting and then getting a shock. Just do what is working for you.
It is still so hot but down 10 degrees from 43 to 33. Top today 38, hopefully we are forecast for rain on Tuesday, I will be outside dancing in it. About the rain, it is a waste of time watering anything now, everything is shrivelled up. Still got a few tomatoes to redden and a few geraniums in pots so I live in hope. Thought I might get a swim after our Sunday brunch but my delicate stomach had other ideas and then I couldn’t risk it. There will be other days.
Weight is steady but will wait for Tuesday for my weigh it.
-
I was clearing out some old emails and came across this :
“If you are hungry now, it doesn’t matter how many good meals you’ve eaten. You can’t quench your thirst by remembering what you drank yesterday. Similarly, if you are looking for a reason to do something, it’s hard to be motivated by an old ambition.”
Think I need a ‘new ambition’!
-
Wise words as always Verano. Pootle – we feel your pain. Think more about what you HAVE achieved rather than what you haven’t. You are awesome 🙂
I’ve had a wobble this weekend- drinks with friends and ( holds head in shame) nibbles! My goodness the damage a few salty snacks cause is unbelievable…carb cravings and feeling hungry 🙁
However, on we go! Just back from a lovely evening ride – its too hot to take the horses out in the day here. I’m in France too, although further north than SG if I remember correctly.
Hope everyone is OK? You sleeping normally again Verano?
I shall delay weighing until Tuesday and hope I can redeem myself!
